Experiments:-

1) The first experiment 

The steps

-- Add 1ML of Diluted Saliva 1:10 ( Saliva + 9ML of NACL) to test tube 

-- Add 3ML of starch to five test tubes (3ml to each one). 

-- Add diluted saliva to each t
ube as the following: 

                    0.2 ML of diluted saliva ➟ 1st tube

                    0.4 ML of diluted saliva ➟ 2ed tube

                    0.6 ML of diluted saliva ➟ 3ed tube

                    0.8 ML of diluted saliva ➟ 4th tube

                    0.10 ML of diluted saliva ➟ 5th tube

-- Add drop of iodin to each tube .

-- Then Choose the tube that has red color or near to it.

Then 1ML of saliva digest "( amount of starch × 10 )÷ The amount of saliva added for that tube " ML Of Starch

EX : 1ML of saliva digests " (3 × 10) ÷ 0.6 = ........ ML " of starch this for 3ed tube

        (3 × 10) ÷ 0.8 = ........ ml for 4th tube 

The second Experiment

The Steps

-- Add 2 ml of saliva to two tubes ( 1ml for each one)

-- Boil one of the tubes "tube 2" 

-- Add 2 ml of starch to each tube

-- Let each tube holding with palms of your hand for 5 minutes 

-- Then distribute the content of each tube (1and2) to other two tubes .

-- for Tube number 1

- add drop of iodin to the frist tube ➟ (-) negative result "no blue color"

- add drop of Bendect reagent to the second tube ➟ (+) positive result "red or orang color appears"

-- For Tube number 2 (boiled Tube)

- add drop of iodin to the frist tube ➟ (+) positive result "blue color appears "

- add drop of Bendect reagent to the second tube ➟ (-) negative result "no red color "
